IndyBay is now a wasteland. The hidden comments section is GONE. Screw dialogue, they say, lets have diatribes...from one side. What is the point of this, and how is it in the spirit of open publishing, work towards peace, understanding, tolerance, and freedom of informatiom? I haven't the foggiest. The Left of Northern California is now officially deprived of open publishing IndyMedia...SFIMC is controlled by Nessie and only has his stuff, IndyBay is gone, and Santa Cruz...well that's a topic I ought to write more on, some other time. They have shut out Becky Johnson, fabulous journalist and effective activist, because she has written in support of Israel. Listening to their interviews is disgusting...a bunch of self righteous pricks, really, who ask the same question over and over again after being proved irrelevant.
To see the IndyBay Zio-pack (it's a shame this is all anonymous, it would be good fun to have events), we're all at la.indymedia.org...myself, Becky, Tia, Gehrig, Schtarker Yid, and our old friend the Israeli who was autoblocked at IndyBay last year and posts as autoblocked@IndyBay. Nessie and Toady (the one who never makes his own arguement but instead posts links to Allison Weir's website and short slogans like "Zionism is Racism"are joined by blatant anti-Semite Sheepdog (who once said "I hate 95% of Jews and immediately followed it up with "Yeah, I hate 95% of assholes"....nice slip).

Indybay is as good as dead. I already miss being able to see the hidden comments, I spend a lot less time looking through the articles now that I know I will not be able to see the dissenting opinions. They shouldn’t be ‘hiding’ any of the comments (at least not the reasonable nonconforming ones), but at least we could find them before.
And please, comment on the Santa Cruz Indymedia site. It is the IM I check most frequently having been a graduate of the UC there. I would like to hear more about the way they run their ship if you have some info.
I must admit I am not a frequent visitor to indymedia sites but what does horrify me is the high degree of anti semitism. Criticising the actions of Israel is justifiable but when I see the vile rubbish of the likes of la voz de aztlan I am disgusted.

Just surfed over here from Indymedia Watch and seen the face saving drivel by one of the Indybay censors above.
Only minutes ago I noticed I couldn't surf over to Indybay because I was asked to enter a username and password which I don't have, obviously. The site has gone club-member -- another own goal by those scum. Curious if you'll encounter the same thing. I just launched a thread about this topic on LA-IMC. Either way your input is welcome.

I've been seeing this "scared" riff about me for months now with no substantiation whatever. A much better question to ask is, why is the Indybay.org editor known as 'toady' always afraid of posting under his own name or a consistent nym? How richly ironic while such a subhuman whackjob charges another with cowardice.
I don't give a crap one way or another that I'm banned on Indybay.org (permanently? Who cares.). I for my part have kicked 'toady' pretty hard for more than year on end, so I will never feel like a sucker.
